Our club dates back to the late 1800s when the first matches were played on a property near the mouth of the Coomera River. This property was owned by the Foxwell family.

There were seven known sites where ovals were located, from Gunanaba in the upper reaches of the Coomera catchment area, through to the land opposite the Coomera River Hotel. These sites include the site which is now occupied by the Coomera Police Station, land at the Oxenford Race Club, Banksia Park at Hope Island and today’s Croc’s headquarters at Oxenford Park.

The office bearers of the club have included members from the original settlers and long established families such as Barr, Oxenford, Foxwell, Hinze, Siganto, Hollindale, Spies, Faulks, Currey, Bignell and Binstead.

Over the years, the club has provided a number of Gold Coast Cricket Association officials and on many occasions, Coomera players have been involved at every level of representation for the Gold Coast area and state teams in both senior and junior cricket.

The Club has a long history of support from the local community at any given time and has received continuous support from Gold Coast City Council.

Today the club boasts around 250 members ranging from juniors through to seniors in all levels of competition on the Gold Coast
