Masters cricket is offered to people aged 40 and over. It is a great way to keep in touch with the game you love without having to back up the following week. Our club boasts the largest contingent of masters players in the Gold Coast competition so there is always room to accommodate new players. At CHICC, we have teams in both the Over 40's and Over 50's competitions.

The normal rules of cricket are followed with some minor changes: batters must retire after 50 runs (they can resume their innings once all the other batters have been dismissed) and bowlers can bowl a maximum of eight overs. Spikes are mandatory to play in this grade, as with all matches on turf pitches.

The season starts at the beginning of October with the competition being played on turf wickets every second Sunday from 10am throughout the season with lunch included.
